Fingerprint Registration Process

Select Member Icon

#1 Select Member

Access the fingerprint registration menu on the device or software. Choose the member you want to add in biometric device.

#2 Capture Face or Fingerprint

The device will open the registration screen. Place new member's finger on the biometric device if it is a finger device or else member will have stand in front of the device to register their face if it is a face device.

Save and Confirm Icon

#3 Save & Confirm

Once the registration is done on device, you can test the registration by scanning the fingerprint or face.

As soon as the device is installed at the premises and is connected to internet, YDL support representative will help you connect the device with software via video call. The biometric software server details have to added on the device and once the device comes online on the YDL crm you can start registering your clients on the device and the attendance will start syncing with the CRM.

Depends on the device/company. For e.g., For YDL devices - it will be done instantly on real time. For Vital TF-43, it might take upto 5 mins if you are uploading the user picture from the CRM itself for registering their face access. For Vital VF3000, it might take upto 10 to 40 seconds for the face registration to complete For Essl devices (finger and face), it might take upto 5 to 40 seconds for the finger/face registration command to appear on the device.

In client profile, you will find all the device commands like - add user, delete, block and unblock
